strep

i've got strep throat. that's just great. but the weird thing is, my throat isn't that sore. i just feel dizzy and nauseous (is that how you spell it?). but i'll tell you this: i am bored out of my freaking mind.

i have watched every movie in this house a dozen times. i have read every book that i care to read (no dad, i will not read your destroyer series, no matter how hard you try.) and here's the thing that gets me:

i have waited to play a game of poker with my brothers all freaking week. guess when they decide the can all play a game. that's right. the night i can't play, because i'm contagious. that's just wonderful.

but i am just going to focus on the good. like... i got to eat mashed potatoes from KFC. i never get to eat mashed potatoes from KFC, so this strep throat thing must be a blessing in disguise...
